This ever-popular day out, loved by families, sees activities for children and families to explore and find around the Museum, launch rockets on the village green, or go back in time in our Victorian school, our school master in cap and gown will ring the bell to call in the class, and children shall be seen and not heard!
Activities will vary dependant on the time of year and sometimes on the weather, a schedule of activities will be available in the Museum main entrance on the day of your visit. All activities are presented by Museum volunteers and are free to take part as part of your Museum admission ticket or Annual Pass. From time to time, we are joined on Activity Thursday by professional crafts people who charge a small amount to cover materials for their activities.
