Fantastic Fire Engines
A regular event at the Rural life Museum for many years now, and definitely a favourite for families and enthusiasts alike. This event sees the Museum filled with fire appliances of all types, sizes and ages! During the day volunteers will carry out a range of demonstrations and rescue scenarios. Watch the teams rescue someone trapped under the big saw bench in the woodyard, see the turntable ladders rescue the Museum cat from the top of the cricket pavilion and see the water jets get to work as they put out a fire. See the flashing lights and hear the bells and sirens on this truly exciting day out with some of our favourite heroes!
