FARNHAM CHARITY BIKE RIDE
The Farnham Charity Bike Ride is back!
After a long slog through multiple lockdowns, disruption, and hard times, the clouds are finally clearing. Vaccinations are rolling out at an impressive pace, and COVID-19 case numbers are plummeting around the country. As a result, the Farnham Charity Bike Ride team are delighted to tell you that we will be running an event again this year.
Last year, we signposted the two shorter routes and published the Strava directions. Thanks to your generosity, we raised a thousand pounds for local charities.
This year, we aim to have a full bike ride experience for you. However, we are continually monitoring the guidelines and regulations to ensure we remain compliant. Don't worry though, we have plans on how to hold the event if social distancing is still in place, and we have proved that we can provide enjoyment and raise money even during stricter rules.
Route Difficulty
16 and 25 mile rides - it is strongly recommended that children under 10 be attached to the adult's bicycle, e.g. bike seat or tagalong, as there are some steep hills and it's a long way! It is solely the responsibility of the named adult rider to decide whether children are sufficiently competent and fit enough to complete the ride.
50 mile ride - this is a testing ride and not recommended for children under the age of 16.
75 mile sportive - this is a challenging ride and should only be attempted by riders confident of completing the distance in the time available.
Start Times
75 mile route: 08:00
50 mile route: 08:30
25 mile route: 09:00
