Tractor Rally
The first special event of each year at the Rural Life Living Museum is our annual tractor rally. A brilliant event for tractor enthusiasts, young and old!
This year we are expecting to host 50+ tractors both from the museum’s own collection and from private individuals bringing their own tractors to visit. This two-day event is suitable for families and connoisseurs alike. Activities will include, ‘Sit in the seat’ with the Museum’s own little grey Fergie, a real ale bar and at 3pm each day our famous tractor parade through the site when all the tractors gathered will start up and drive round the museum accompanied by expert commentary!
Alongside the event, which is spread throughout the Museum visitors can still explore our historic buildings and eclectic collection of everyday objects. We are a great day out for families to relax, wander and explore, bring a picnic and relax in our picnic area (under cover) or pick a spot amongst the trees. Our café also serves a wide range of hot and cold food and drink, our famous sausage rolls and of course cakes and sweet treats!
