In Loving Memory of Alison Yearsley

Alison Yearsley 1964 - 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce to The Bourne Green Sports Club and The Great Bourne Community that one our founding Trustees, Alison Yearsley, passed away on the 15th of January 2023, surrounded by her loving family after a brave but short battle with Pancreatic cancer. Alison was one of the original Mum’s who supported the formation of The Bourne Blades Football Club twenty years ago and continued as Team Secretary for many years. Her husband, James, still plays for the Vets.

In recent years Alison became an enthusiastic and keen runner as part of Farnham Runners. Alison was the most incredibly thoughtful, caring and wonderful lady and will be missed by so many.

Her family have asked for no flowers or gifts to be sent, but donations in Alison’s memory to Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice would be gratefully received.

Alison’s funeral will take place on 7th February at Havant Crematorium and then at Hayling Island Sailing Club.
