Join us on Bourne Green to celebrate The Queen’s Jubilee
In 2022, Her Majesty The Queen will become the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee after 70 years of service. The Great Bourne Community will celebrate Her Majesty’s historic reign by hosting a picnic for the community on Bourne Green.

Bourne Green, Friday, June 3rd from 2pm - 6pm
Refreshments?
The bar at the pavilion be open serving the usual drinks as well as Pimms! You can get coffee and tea from The Coffee Can.
What about food?
The Spotted Cow is offering 20% off all pizzas delivered to the Green on on June 3rd between 2 - 6pm. You can pre-order on 01252 726541 or order online on the day. You’ll be able to buy ice cream, but please bring your own picnic. Make sure to grab a spot in the shade early! You can also get the usual delicious cakes from The Coffee Can.
Will anything else be on offer?
Yes! We will be making a community bunting which will be used for future celebrations. We’d love for everyone from the Bourne to join us on the day. The more the merrier! There will also be face-painting, tattoos and colour you own crown activities for children. Bring your own games too, there’s plenty of space on the green.
Any prizes to be won?
Of course! Wear red, white and blue or why not go for full fancy dress? Prizes for the best-dressed child and grown-up!
